Hello, As you know we recently hosted an all school event called NED's Resiliency Ride. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which inspires everyone to become Champions at school and in life! NED yo yos are still available for purchase to support the free show and message. If your student has already purchased a yoyo, here is an important link to help them get off to a good start with proper string length adjustment, click here. Additionally, here are a couple of our favorite follow up home resources from The NED Show website. You may want to use these with your child as they are designed to go hand in hand with the program. The NED Pledge Champion Choices ‍ If you'd like additional resources, they are available here. And don’t forget to ask your student what they learned in the show about Never giving up, Encouraging others and Doing your best! Educating together!

This month's Blue Jacket assembly was filled with excitement and celebration! Our 4th graders gave a wonderful performance in the Christmas Play, spreading holiday cheer to all. We also took time to recognize students with Character Trait Awards, Student of the Month Awards, Accelerated Reader Awards, and Art Show Awards. A special moment of the assembly was when representatives from the Stillwater and Langston VFW honored our students who participated in the essay contest, presenting awards for their hard work and creativity. Congratulations to all of our outstanding students!

Coyle Schools Visual and Performing Arts Gifted and Talented students were able to attend “A Territorial Christmas” at The Pollard Theater in Guthrie Wednesday. Coyle Schools has two students who are members of the cast: Jaxcie Maker and Jules Mallow. Students had the opportunity to watch Jules perform on Wednesday. Jaxcie said it was different getting to watch it being performed as she is either onstage or backstage when she is performing. On Thursday at the Bluejacket Buzz, Jaxcie and Jules were recognized for their roles. Those students who attended the performance highly recommend that if you get the chance go see “A Territorial Christmas.”

We were excited to share a little holiday cheer! Today, our principal delivered a Traveling Hot Chocolate Bar with goodies to each of the staff. We wanted everyone to take a moment to enjoy a warm cup of coca with all the fixings- it’s our way of saying thank you for your hard work and dedication this season. You deserve it! The 2nd and 4th grade students decorated the sleeves for the cups!!! We couldn’t have done this without the PTA providing the funds to help make this possible and to Linda Newsom for making the goodies.

We are incredibly grateful to Generations Family Church for their generosity in providing some warm coats for our students. This thoughtful act of kindness ensures that our children are well-prepared for the winter months, bringing comfort and care to those in need. Their support not only helps meet physical needs but also shows the power of community in lifting each other up. Thank you for making a positive impact on the lives of our students!
