The Senior Class of 2026 held their Commencement Exercises this evening, May 15, at 7:00pm. With family, guests, friends, faculty, and administration present, students celebrated the culmination of their years at Coyle High School. The Salutatorian for the evening was Xavier Noble. Valedictorians were Josiah Amaro, Skylar Harwood, Gracie Long, and Andres Paya. Students were recognized for their involvement in FFA, FCCLA, HOPE Squad, National Honor Society, and STUCO. Students wore cords to show their membership in each of these activities. Students were also recognized for donating blood. Josiah Amaro, Tristen Hoffman, and Cash Stout were recognized for donating over 5 units of blood in high school. Students received Citations from the State of Oklahoma in honor of their graduation from Representative Molly Jenkins and Senator Chuck Hall. The students were recognized for completing concurrent college classes through Redlands Community College. The Coyle Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Shaylee Thomason; the Patty Weathers Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Josiah Amaro; the Fruedenberger Valedictorian Scholarship was awarded to Andres Paya; the Wayne Gross Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Makala Gross. The Senior Class of 2026 wants to thank everyone who came out this evening to make their graduation GREAT!!

SENIOR PARENTS--
THIS IS IT!! YOUR CHILDREN WILL GRADUATE THIS FRIDAY. SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW--
WEDNESDAY--BACCALAUREATE--7:00PM IN THE GYM
SENIORS WILL NEED TO BE HERE NO LATER THAN 6:40PM SO THEY CAN LINE UP FOR THE PROCESSIONAL. THEY WILL WEAR GOOD CLOTHES (THINK CHURCH ATTIRE)--NO SHORTS, TANK TOPS, ETC. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WAY TO PRESS THEIR GOWNS, PLEASE SEND THEM TO SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY SO WE MAY PRESS THEM. THERE ARE A FEW EXTRA ROSES IF STUDENTS STILL NEED TO PURCHASE SOME FOR THE ROSE CEREMONY FRIDAY EVENING.
THURSDAY--PK GRADUATION AT BLUEJACKET BUZZ 9:00AM--SENIORS WILL BE ESCORTING THE PK FOR THEIR GRADUATION. THE SENIORS WILL NEED TO BRING CAPS, GOWNS, CORDS, TASSELS, AND STOLES THAT THEY WILL BE WEARING AT COMMENCEMENT. AFTER BLUEJACKET BUZZ, THEY WILL TAKE A SENIOR CLASS PICTURE OF THE ENTIRE CLASS IN THEIR CAPS AND GOWNS. INDIVIDUAL SENIOR PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO WANT THEM. AFTER PICTURES, THEY WILL HANG THEIR GOWNS AND PARAPHERNALIA IN THE HOSPITALITY ROOM UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING. THEY WILL THEN PRACTICE FOR GRADUATION, DECORATE THE GYM, PREPARE ROSES, AND DECORATE THEIR TABLES FOR FRIDAY EVENING. PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO COME AND HELP DECORATE AND PREPARE THE ROSES FOR FRIDAY EVENING.
FRIDAY--SENIOR GRADUATION--SENIORS NEED TO BE AT THE GYM NO LATER THAN 6:15PM SO THAT THEY CAN GET DRESSED IN THEIR CAPS AND GOWNS, SORT ROSES AND PREPARE TO WALK AT 7:00PM.
