Parents you may or may not receive a P-EBT card for your children for the past school year for the days that we were virtual. These are to help parents offset the cost of meals that would have been provided by the school. It is based on the number of days that students missed in class instruction due to Covid.

During this time of Covid/Flu/Strep, it is highly recommended that all students, staff, and visitors wear masks. Thanks for doing your part to keep our school safe. The high school basketball game for tonight against Agra at home has been cancelled.

Here are the tournament Brackets for the Coyle High School Basketball Tournament scheduled for Jan. 20-22.

For the health and safety of everyone, Coyle Schools will be virtual tomorrow (Wednesday Jan.12 )and Thursday (Jan.13) because of staff and student exposure/illness to flu and/or covid that is affecting over 50% of the high school and one bus route affecting elementary students. All activities scheduled for this week are canceled. We are out of school on Monday, Jan.17 for MLK, Jr. Day. We will return to in-class instruction on Tuesday, Jan.18. The games scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18 will be played; homecoming will be rescheduled for a later date. Just a reminder when we return, if your child is ill or showing symptoms of illness, please do NOT send them to school.

For clarification about work during classes while we are virtual, students in Grades 8-12 must be doing their work in each class every day to stay caught up. These days are to be treated exactly like a school day. Teachers are giving different assignments each day that are due that day--not the next day. Students will be counted absent hourly just like we were in school.

Parents and Students in Grades 8-12–Students must be logging in and completing work daily while we are virtual this week. Students who do not do this will be counted absent for that day. Athletes will not be allowed to play that day. This is our district’s policy approved by the state for us to be virtual. Teachers are either emailing work or assigning work on our online platform—Edgenuity. Students should check emails and their Edgenuity accounts for their assignments.

Parents and members please check your emails as they will have your assignments and updates.
Next week we will start our Spring Meat sale. You may go by the High School Office and pick up your meat sale letter and forms. The letter must be signed and dated by you and your parent/guardian and turned back into Mr.Dunn.
Sale begins 1/10/22
