Just a reminder to come out and support the Coyle Livestock Exhibitors at the annual Coyle Pork Chop Supper and Auction. The meal starts at 5:00pm; the auction begins at 7:00pm. The meal and the auction are being held this year in the New Gym at Coyle.

The high school basketball games scheduled for tomorrow night (Feb. 4) at Ripley are cancelled because of the weather.

COYLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW, THURSDAY, FEB. 3. Coyle School Activities for Thursday are cancelled. A decision on high school basketball games will be made on Friday. The Coyle Livestock Booster (4-H & FFA) Pork Chop Supper is still scheduled at this time for this Saturday, Feb. 5. Make plans to come support these students and get a great meal! Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 7.

The Coyle High School Bluejackets held their basketball homecoming on Tuesday, February 1 at 6:00pm. Senior Kris Boynton was named as the 2022 Basketball King. Senior Alisa Thomas was crowned as the 2022 Basketball Queen. After the homecoming ceremonies, the Bluejackets played the Mulhall-Orlando Panthers. The Lady Bluejackets won against the Lady Panthers in overtime. The Bluejackets dominated in the boys' against the Panthers. It was a good night to be a BLUEJACKET!!
Pictures from the homecoming ceremony are uploaded to the school website (coyle.k12.ok.us). Go to the Menu (upper right)--find the Athletics Header--click on Schedules. The folder will be listed as 2022 BASKETBALL HOMECOMING. If you are on the school app, you will click on the Menu icon lower left corner, then click on Documents. Then find the folder named Athletic Schedules, click on it and locate the folder listed above.


Just a reminder, the high school basketball homecoming will be held tonight at 6 PM in the new gymnasium. The Bluejackets will take on the MO Panthers for the ball games. The ball games will start at 6:30 PM.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS ABOUT CLOSING SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. At this time, no decision has been made about school on Thursday. That decision will be determined tomorrow afternoon/evening. Continue to watch the school app, the school website, the school Facebook page, and Channel 4 (KFOR).

SENIOR PARENTS--Our School Counselor, Ms. Wade, sent the following information to each senior if they wish to play sports in college.
Seniors - any student athletes who are planning or even thinking about playing sports in college will need to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse. Attached are general directions to follow to set up an account. Please do this ASAP and let me know once you have created an account or if you have any questions.

Parents--with the possibility of inclement weather coming in on Wednesday & Thursday this week, the administration will make a decision regarding the closing of school no later than Wednesday morning. If the decision is made to close, announcements will be on Channel 4 (KFOR4), the school website, the school app, and the school Facebook page. If the school is closed, we will make the day(s) up on Fridays to be announced at a later date.

Attention FFA meter and parents, Meat orders; Money; and Signed letter are all due tomorrow by noon.
Orders must be counted by the student and parent. You will only submit your totals of each item i.e. sausage 25 sticks, etc. etc..
Late orders will not be accepted, we will have extra of select items available for purchase after the sale. Students must turn in their parent and student signed meat sale letter to submit their orders.

Congratulations to the 8th & 9th academic team that competed in the district academic contest today in Agra. They qualified to move on to regional academics on Feb. 26th.

The High School Basketball games at Oilton tomorrow, Friday, January 28, will be their homecoming. Oilton will play the boys’ game first at 6:30pm followed by the girls’ game at 8:00pm.

Elementary and middle school will participate in the same Homecoming dress out days as the High School for Homecoming. See the previous message for details.

FFA meat orders and money are due January 31st, we have decided to extend the sale. Thank you!

Sorry for the late notice, but with Basketball Homecoming on a Tuesday, we will do our dress up days a little bit different this year. Homecoming will be on Tuesday, Feb. 1 against Mulhall-Orlando. The Homecoming Ceremony will start at 6:00pm followed by the high school games.
Wednesday, Jan. 26--Wild Wednesday--Wear your favorite animal print.
Thursday, Jan. 27--Jungle Safari Day--Dress to go on a Safari trip (tourist, hunter or safari vacation)
Monday, Jan. 31--Jumanji Day--Dress like your future self. Time flies when you're in the game.
Tuesday--Feb. 1--Spirit Day--Get wild and show your Bluejacket pride--WEAR THAT BLUE!!


Come out and support the Lady Bluejackets and the Bluejackets tomorrow (Sat. Jan. 22) as they continue to win this year. The Lady Bluejackets will be playing for Consolation Champions of the Coyle Tournament at 12:40pm. The Bluejackets will be playing for 3rd place of the Coyle Tournament at 4:40pm.

Coyle Schools will be in session tomorrow Friday, January 21 since we were out on Monday for MLK Day.
