Here are pictures from the Coyle Jr./Sr. Prom “Enchanted Evening” at The Guthrie Depot last night. The decorations were great, the food was amazing, and the DJs rocked the dance! Again a special thank you to all who helped the Junior Class make this prom such a success!! This was a HUGE learning curve for the students as they took an idea from a prom book and learned how to adapt it to what they wanted. They learned how to save money, how to order invitations, how to work together, and how to be thankful for the support from the community as donations were made to help them make their dream come true.

The Junior Class is proud to be hosting prom for the Senior Class of 2023, Saturday, April 15 at The Guthrie Depot from 7:00-10:00pm. The theme for the Jr./Sr. Prom is Enchanted Evening. Juniors, Seniors and their dates will dance to the music of Jones DJ Service. A special Thank You to the Junior Class Parents and the Christian Church at Coyle for their help with decorating and providing food. Parents and family members are welcome to come take pictures before 7:30pm. Please park in the parking lot behind the depot. After that, the prom will be closed to the public.

PARENTS TESTING FOR GRADES 3-8 STARTS NEXT WEEK. In the elementary, ALL student cell phones are turned into Officer Tucker daily so there should not be a problem with phones in the elementary. In the high school, cell phones will be taken and turned into the office until testing is over that day if students have them out in class and/or the hallways during testing. Again our main priority is ensuring that students are able to successfully take their state tests without any interruptions. Students need to go to bed early so they are ready for testing. Thank you for your help and support at this time.

The Junior High boys Baseball team will not be going to the Ripley Tournament this weekend.
Sorry for the confusion!

Parents and Students—Testing starts this week. The Junior Class will be taking the state mandated ACT Test on Tuesday. This test will take them 5-7 hours depending on categories. The ACT guidelines do NOT want any cellphones schoolwide while the students test. This is to allow the students to use ALL of the bandwidth as this is a live test. I am strongly encouraging all students to leave their phones at home that day if at all possible. They cannot even use them during lunch that day. Please call the office if you need to get a message to your student. Grades 3-8 will start testing on or after April 17. We will also be monitoring and restricting cellphone use during their tests also.

The Coyle High School Baseball team will play tomorrow, March 31st, at 1:30 pm in Orlando for the second round of the M-O Tournament against Perkins JV. Players need to be at the baseball field at 12:00 pm, bus will leave at 12:30 pm. Come support your Coyle Bluejackets!
