LANGSTON SOFTBALL TO HOST FALL SOFTBALL CAMP IN OCTOBER
The Langston University softball team is hosting an upcoming softball camp for ages 13-18 on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Camp cost is $100 per camper, per session. The camp schedule is as follows.
Session 1 | 10 am - 12 pm
Session 2 | 1 pm - 3 pm

Reminder of Parent/Teacher conferences tonight and tomorrow night from 4-7. We will have the outside doors shut starting at 3:30 until 4pm so that teachers can prepare and grab a quick bite that is sponsored by the Coyle-Langston-Meridian PTA. Staff will also be on hand to answer any questions concerning the bond election that takes place tomorrow.
THE 2023 FOOTBALL HOMECOMING IS IN THE BOOKS. THE COYLE BLUEJACKETS DEFEATED THE WATTS ENGINEERS 36-18. JOAQUIN AMARO WAS CROWNED FOOTBALL KING AND ASHLEE KELLEY WAS CROWNED FOOTBALL QUEEN. PLEASE CONTACT MRS. LARMAN IF YOU WOULD LIKE PICTURES FROM THE HOMECOMING CEREMONY. THE ONES ON THE WEBSITE HAD TO BE CROPPED TO FIT THE GUIDELINES.
Students who are working the OSU game tomorrow need to be at the school at 3:00pm. Please bring a jacket as temperatures are expected to drop. Better to be safe than sorry.
JUST A REMINDER THAT EARLY VOTING WILL BE ON THURSDAY, OCT. 5 AND FRIDAY, OCT. 6 AT THE LOGAN COUNTY ELECTION BOARD IN GUTHRIE AND AT THE PAYNE COUNTY ELECTION BOARD IN STILLWATER. BOTH LOCATIONS WILL OPEN AT 8:00AM AND CLOSE AT 6:00PM ON BOTH DAYS.
Wellness Wednesday—Today we want to focus on the safety and security of the new building. The addition of two safe rooms as well as reinforced dead walls, fire sprinklers, and safer environmental air quality will help our students and staff be less concerned about outside threats and more focused on growth in education.

IF YOU DID NOT GET ONE, PLEASE CONTACT THE ELEMENTARY OR HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE. WE WILL MAKE SURE ONE GETS TO YOUR CHILD TO BRING HOME. PICTURES WILL START WITH PK AND SENIORS AT 9:00AM.

A special THANK YOU to all who donated blood on Tuesday. We had our best turnout since 2019. We had 18 donations that will save 54 lives!!!! This also allowed us to donate $180 to our local PTA. It was a win-win for everyone. Our next drive will be in March of 2024.

ANOTHER REMINDER, THAT NEXT WEEK IS SPIRIT WEEK FOR FOOTBALL HOMECOMING. WE WILL TAKE PICTURES OF THE HOMECOMING COURT AT SCHOOL ON TUESDAY MORNING DURING 2ND HOUR (9:15-10:00). HOMECOMING WILL BE ON THURSDAY, OCT. 5 @ 6:30 P.M. STUDENTS IN THE HOMECOMING COURT NEED TO BE AT THE FIELD BY 5:45 P.M. FOR PICTURES. KICKOFF WILL BE @ 7:00 P.M.

THE JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS SOFTBALL WILL HAVE TWO GAMES TODAY IN STILLWATER. GAME TIMES ARE 6:00PM AND 7:00PM. THE BUS WILL LEAVE THE SCHOOL AT 4:00PM. THANK YOU!
The Coyle HS cheerleaders will be putting together grab bags for every football player, manager, cheerleader, and coach for homecoming. If you would like to bring something, such as small gatorades/powerades, granola bars, fruit snacks, or chips to donate to the bags please bring donations to the High School Office. We will need 40 of each item. Thank you for your support!
To help teach how important it is for our older students to be mentors for our younger students, Coach Ryan Weathers has his students assist Mrs. Miller with her Prekindergarten class during the week. It is a learning experience for all as everyone benefits from the life skills being shared and taught. Remember if you want to view the pictures, you will have to go to the website, Facebook page, or school app.

October 5–Show “up” Thursday - Show up to school in all pink as we celebrate breast cancer survivors and remember those who didn’t survive. We are asking all of our fans to wear pink to the game so we can PINK OUT our stands. The homecoming ceremony starts at 6:30pm and kick off will be at 7pm!
