Parents of Pre-K to 1st grade: Your students will be bringing home a packet today compliments of the National Child ID Program. These are completely voluntary to complete and do not need to be turned back in. We have a few extra left over. On December 2nd we will be adding a 4th bus route to alleviate crowding and shorten lengthy bus routes. The new route will be mainly for those students in and around the Langston area but all three route times will change. More infomation will be sent home later in the week with students that will be directly affected. Thank you in advance for you patience as we try to minimize ride times and overcrowding on our bus routes.

Middle School Engineering students are working on their popsicle stick truss bridges. They are working through the engineering design process. First, they had to research possible solutions to overcome constraints and limited resources. Students then use TinkerCAD to help plan and design their bridges. Finally, they will test their bridges and redesign them to make improvements. This class has done, clay boats, beam bridges, index card towers. Next week, they will be building ping pong ball catapults and then we finish up their class with marble Rollercoasters made from recycled materials.

A SPECIAL THANKS TODAY TO OUR VETERANS, EMTS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT GRADUATES/STUDENTS. If you know of someone who has not been included, please email Mrs. Larman (wlarman@coyle.k12.ok.us). We tried to include students who attended at least 2 years at Coyle. This was done because during the war years, some students went to the service before graduating if they were old enough. Again we started compiling these lists last November, so please email Mrs. Larman if someone is missing as it was not our intention to leave anyone off. If you are just receiving a text message, please go to our website (https://www.coyle.k12.ok.us) or our Facebook page (Coyle Public Schools).
