A really cool assembly is coming to our school for K-7th grade students. This will be on December 17th. More information will be sent out the closer we get to the 17th. NED's Resiliency Ride, is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks. www.theNEDshow.com/ned_program.html

This afternoon we will transition our student pick-up to the South Entry of the Elementary School. We ask that parents or guardians picking up their students, please remain behind the fence until students are sent out. We thank you in advance for you patience as we all transition to the new process.
Morning student drop-off will remain unchanged at this time.

Even though I confirmed the time with each student individually, I am receiving multiple texts this evening asking about the time. The students working tomorrow at OSU need to be at the high school by 11:30AM. Wear your hoodies and your shirts. See you in the morning.

This year, Middle School students were able to select a "hands-on" elective each nine weeks to their choosing. These images are a section of Mr Gibbs Wildlife/ Survival course where students are making plaster cast of animal tracks, tracking animals movements with trail cameras and studying animals habitats and ecology. #StrengtheningTheHive

Parents of Pre-K to 1st grade:
Your students will be bringing home a packet today compliments of the National Child ID Program. These are completely voluntary to complete and do not need to be turned back in. We have a few extra left over. If your child did not receive a kit you can pick one up at the Elementary office or you can visit www.childprogram.com/order-now and have them shipped to your house.

Bluejacket Buzz will be delayed to 10am today to help with coordination of our Thanksgiving meal. Parents/guest are welcome to attend both events. For Buzz we ask that you be seated in the middle section of the East bleachers. Those that are attending the Thanksgiving meal, please enter the East Elementary door and purchase ($5) for your meal ticket and we will escort you to the cafeteria.

On December 2nd we will be adding a 4th bus route to alleviate crowding and shorten lengthy bus routes. The new route will be mainly for those students in and around the Langston area but all three route times will change. More infomation will be sent home later in the week with students that will be directly affected. Thank you in advance for you patience as we try to minimize ride times and overcrowding on our bus routes.
