Tonight, May 19, was the Coyle High School Athletic Banquet. Athletic Director Shane welcomed student athletes, parents, and guests. Awards were given for each sport by the respective coaches. The delicious meal was provided by the Coyle Athletic Booster Club. Parents provided the desserts. The banquet ended with the naming of Mr. And Miss Bluejacket for 2026. Makala Gross was named the 2026 Miss Lady Bluejacket, and Xavier Noble was named the 2026 Mr. Bluejacket.

Parents tomorrow is field day for the elementary. The sophomore class will be selling Italian sodas in the lobby of the gym for $2 for a small soda. Flavors are strawberry, peach or raspberry with vanilla cream and whipped cream. Grades 5-12 will also need to go to the gym from 12:15-12:45 to get their regular Italian/Dirty Sodas for $3-$4 depending on size.

Miss Willson’s class wrapped up their final lab in a delicious way by choosing different meats to learn how to marinate and cook them! Students gained hands-on experience with food preparation, seasoning, and cooking techniques while having a great time together.

What an amazing night at our Literacy Carnival! We had a huge turnout and so much fun with our families and students. From carnival games, bouncy houses, giant slides, and Plinko to free books, backpacks, hotdogs, popcorn, and more, there was excitement everywhere you looked!
A huge thank you to our awesome elementary faculty here at Coyle for all of their hard work, creativity, and dedication in making this event so special for our students and families. We are so thankful for such an incredible team!

Basketball Sign-ups for our boys and girls 1st-4th Little Dribblers Camp and 5th-8th Elite Camp are out! Please use the Google form via QR Code to register or register in person at the Elementary office. The proceeds help send our kids to summer basketball camps. Thank you for your support!

Please make sure students that need to wear glasses have their glasses at school so they can do their very best on their tests. Too many times, they leave them at home thinking it will not matter. The Senior Class of 2026 held their Commencement Exercises this evening, May 15, at 7:00pm. With family, guests, friends, faculty, and administration present, students celebrated the culmination of their years at Coyle High School. The Salutatorian for the evening was Xavier Noble. Valedictorians were Josiah Amaro, Skylar Harwood, Gracie Long, and Andres Paya. Students were recognized for their involvement in FFA, FCCLA, HOPE Squad, National Honor Society, and STUCO. Students wore cords to show their membership in each of these activities. Students were also recognized for donating blood. Josiah Amaro, Tristen Hoffman, and Cash Stout were recognized for donating over 5 units of blood in high school. Students received Citations from the State of Oklahoma in honor of their graduation from Representative Molly Jenkins and Senator Chuck Hall. The students were recognized for completing concurrent college classes through Redlands Community College. The Coyle Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Shaylee Thomason; the Patty Weathers Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Josiah Amaro; the Fruedenberger Valedictorian Scholarship was awarded to Andres Paya; the Wayne Gross Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Makala Gross. The Senior Class of 2026 wants to thank everyone who came out this evening to make their graduation GREAT!!

Tonight the Coyle FFA Chapter held their annual FFA Banquet for parents and supporters. The 25-26 Chapter Officers presented the Honorary FFA Chapter Degree to Colton Moorman. The Chapter Greenhand Degree was presented to Allyson Cameron. Gracie Long received the Chapter Star Degree. Numerous proficiency awards were presented to students for their SAE projects. Asa Graham received the Top Salesperson award for selling the most Blue & Gold products. Eighth Graders received the Discover FFA Degree, and ninth graders received the Greenhand Degree.
