Coyle Public Schools — District I014, Logan County 42

Coyle Public Schools has an ongoing Child Find process to identify, locate, and evaluate children ages 3 through 21 who reside within the district's geographic boundaries and who are suspected of having a disability and may need special education and related services.

Child Find applies regardless of the severity of a suspected disability and includes children who are:

  • Enrolled in Coyle Public Schools or another public school

  • Homeschooled

  • Enrolled in a private or religious school

  • Not currently enrolled in school

  • Attending Head Start or other educational programs

  • or

    Otherwise residing within the geographic boundaries of Coyle Public Schools.

A parent, teacher, or other individual who has knowledge of a child may refer the child for consideration of a special education evaluation. Parents/guardians who suspect that their child may have a disability and may need special education or related services are encouraged to contact Coyle Public Schools.
